大多數(shù)轎車采用前盤后鼓式制動器結(jié)構(gòu)，一般情況下前制動蹄片磨損的相對較快，后制動剎車片使用的時(shí)間相對較長，在日常的檢查維護(hù)中應(yīng)注意以下幾個(gè)方面：

1.正常行駛條件下每行駛5000公里對制動蹄片檢查一次，不僅要檢查剩余的厚度，還要檢查剎車片磨損的狀態(tài)，兩邊磨損的程度是否一樣，回位是否自如等，發(fā)現(xiàn)不正常情況必須立即處理。

1. 2.制動剎車片一般由鐵襯板和摩擦材料兩部分組成，一定不要等摩擦材料部分都磨沒了才更換蹄片。例如捷達(dá)車的前制動蹄片，新片的厚度為14毫米，而更換的極限厚度是7毫米，其中包括3毫米多的鐵襯板厚度和近4毫米的摩擦材料厚度。一些車輛帶有制動蹄片報(bào)警功能，一旦達(dá)到了磨損極限，儀表會報(bào)警提示更換蹄片。達(dá)到了使用極限的剎車片必須更換，即使尚能使用一段時(shí)間，也會降低制動的效果，影響行車的安全。

4.更換剎車片時(shí)必須使用專用工具將制動分泵頂回。不能用其他撬棍硬壓回，這樣易導(dǎo)致制動鉗導(dǎo)向螺絲彎曲，使剎車片卡死。
